The Highlands Fire Department was designed to accommodate thirteen apparatuses, storage facilities, a training room, and sleep quarters across two stories. The station is a model of efficiency and modern firefighting needs. The incorporation of an elevator and slide pole underscores the thoughtful planning to meet the station’s operational requirements. Adorned with natural rock, brick veneer, and siding, the fire station seamlessly blends with the architectural context of its surroundings. The Town of Highlands Fire Station project signifies the blend of form, function and community commitment.
