The Cool Springs Live Burn Training Facility is a custom-built structure constructed from seven Conex boxes, designed to deliver safe, realistic, and hands-on fire training. This advanced facility includes patent-pending burn rooms on both levels, search rooms, a Denver window, breach door, and cable-operated vents with cleanouts, all built to support diverse training scenarios. Additional specialized features such as a multi-connection rappel tree with a slip-resistant wall, a rebar breaching station, and a custom hydraulic-powered “mobile” vent prop provide fire service professionals with a versatile, high-impact training environment. To ensure departments receive the maximum value and confidence in their new facility, a retired fire chief instructs and conducts the first live burn, bringing real-world expertise and guidance to the inaugural training.
