Daniel Carpenter is a repeat client of D. R. Reynolds Company. The Mustang Owners Museum is a multi-functional 91,400 SF building that houses 45,700 SF of 2nd story storage for Ford Restoration Parts.
Most of the lower 45,700 SF level is home to the Mustang Museum of America, the first of its kind for Ford Mustang lovers. The Mustang Museum of America is dedicated to the celebration, preservation, education, and display of Ford Mustangs built throughout the decades. These cars are displayed for all the public to see. Within the first story, is a 3,740 SF Corporate Display area that’s available for rent to the public, complete with a catering kitchen and bathrooms.
The building is pre-engineered with a standing seam roof. Bar joist and concrete floor construction hold the mezzanine for the second level. Pre-cast architectural concrete walls form the exterior of the building, and the panels are enhanced with floor-to-ceiling windows for a glow of exterior light in the space. All LED lights were utilized, as well as Mitsubishi HVAC mini-split units conditioning the space. This project for DCF Properties is one of the largest Mitsubishi system projects on the market today, with over fifty units being installed.
