The Puppy Creek Live Burn Trainer is a custom-built structure designed to provide safe, realistic, and repeatable fire training for the department’s personnel. Built from Conex boxes, the facility features a patent-pending burn room engineered to deliver consistent and controlled live-fire conditions for a wide range of training evolutions. This trainer gives firefighters the opportunity to sharpen essential skills in a durable and practical environment tailored to their operational needs. Looking ahead, the Puppy Creek Fire Department has plans to expand the facility by adding additional Conex boxes and incorporating new training props, creating an even larger, more versatile complex to support advanced training scenarios and multi-company operations.
